BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.
History world was LIT, ON FIYAH, VOLCANIC and NEVER BEEN HOTTER in the 3Q. Both July and August saw new records in matches played.
198 matches had been played, which is on pace to CRUSH the 219 matches played in 2014.
Individually – the big stories of Q3 were the continued hot play of our 2 leaders Mole and Bobcat. Hints of the 1997 PGA CHAMPIONSHIP (Justin Leonard and Davis Lame III) and the 2016 OPEN (Stenson and Lefty) where 2 guys separated from the pack and had an epic battle. Both guys coasted to CK captainship after very strong summers. Mole had back to back GUPs and Bobcat broke his own record for LROH and also tied the VGC course record with a BEYOND SIZZLING 61. Although these 2 have distanced themselves from the field – there are a lot of hungry golfers chasing those last 4 playoff spots.
At long last – We also had our first ever HISTORY ACE. The EAG with just mere moments of light left in the day hit a beautiful little 8 iron that JIM RUBledged perfectly off the right side mound of the 13th green towards the hole and BOOM BABY went in. THANK GOD WE FINALLY DID IT.
And finally – we crowned the 2nd and 3rd MAJORS of the year. EAG with his 3rd straight LEVEL at NANNERS (Second overall in the tourney), and BOBCAT finally winning his first MAJ with the VGC CLUB CHAMP title win over YORK in the final.
Yeesh – I’m tired already.

Mr. July was an exciting one. Mole’s 7-1 edged out Yorkies 6-0 by having a 71.50 NSA over Yorks 71.83. WHOA BABY. Second of the year for Moleseph.
Mr. August
Mr. August was TOOOOIGHT. Both Bob and Hound went 7-2. But HOUND gets the nod with his 72.89 NSA over Bob’s 74.89.
Mr. September
Pands gets his second MISTA of the year. His 3-0 record with a 71.00 NSA edged out his good good GOOD buddy Pecker who was 5-2 with a 72.71 NSA.

(as mentioned above) WE FINALLY DID IT. 13th hole. Dusk. Only time to play a couple more holes. Eag pulls an 8 iron. Front pin. Left to right wind. Mini cut. Jim RUBBY off the right part of the green. Has a chance. I think it might’ve gone in. Not totally sure tho. Drive up. Bobcat takes a peak. ITS IN!!!! Whoa – Who new Bobcat could jump that high? Well he is a Bobcat. COME GET SOM!!!
