2020 CTMC Final
Here we are. Putting a cap on our 10th year of history. What a year it was and what a final this should be.
Past champs include RAM, EEL, YAHK, HARRIER, YORKIE, OWL, BOBCAT, EEL (again) and EAGLE. Who will be our 10th CHAMP? TWT
Grab a Bronson, and lets looks at the 4 finalists.
BOBCAT – (Cap will move from +2 to a 2) Bobdash. 4 time MAJ winner including CTMC 7. Been trading Club Champ titles with ledge the last 4 years. Spent the whole year at the top of the standings. Wire to GD Wire. Future father. Hit 3 buckets at the SOP yesterday in about 15 minutes. He is very ANTSY to join his good friend EEL as being the only 2 time CHAMP of this MAJ. Will EAG be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
Falco – (Cap will move from 3 to a 5) Captain, Smooth like. Sophomore season with the kingdom was a very nice one. Was near the top of the standings all year which earned him a captain spot in the CK. Showed Captain Cat a thing or 2 about captaincy and ended up hoisting the CK trophy at the end of the great battle. He’s got that team success under his belt – now it’s time to go get that individual title and get his name in CAPS for eternity. Smoothest swing in the kingdom (second smoothest in the club (Ron Dupuis). Is this Falco’s time? Will EAG be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
YORKIE – (Cap will move from +1 to a 0) The LEDGE. His picture is the dining room at the VEEJ. Its been up there a fair bit I would say. 6 time MAJ champ. Can get past RAM and 1 within EAG with a dub this weekend.
CTMC 5 Champ knows how to get it done in this format. That year, after all was said and done, DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN?!?! was heard rattling throughout the 19th. The 19th is still closed, but that doesn’t mean YORK has forgotten that phrase. Will EAG be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
HOUND – (Cap will remain 2) The heater of a lifetime. 15 game winning streak which included a PLAYIN victory. 2 time MAJ champ (RK3,4) will be looking to get that elusive 3rd. (only 5 have reached 3) The streak finally ended, but the HOUND is still sizzling. He’s won the PLAYIN twice, which means he knows how to get it done in this format. Is this the year he wins the FINAL? Hound’s good to him! Will EAG be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
There you have it GENTS. 4 great golfers, but more importantly 4 great guys. Doesnt get much better.
Unfortunately – for the first FINAL ever, we wont be able to have a gallery but the commish will be POLOing every shot.
