Yowzas.....What a GOD DAM CK. Seems to get better each year. Like a fine wine (insert wine that Bobcat Sr bought for Bobcats table at final mens night)

Mother Naitch came through for us BIG TIME on Saturday - and then said "suck it kingdom" on sunday for about 2 hours......but you know what? - it cleared out the rest of the course - so maybe it was all part of her plan.

We started REAL bright and early Saturday morning with the ALTY....both teams threw some jabs at each other and we ended up TIED 3-3 at the end of the morning session.....After a HUGE break in between, HIST got underway. Both teams used the keep the winning teams together strategy and broke up the losing teams. This is when Team York took control, winning 5 of the 6 possible points! taking a pretty commanding 8-4 lead.
After a BIG Saturday night by all - was Team York gonna cruise to a CK victory??? HELL NAH.

Midway through singles - there was A LOT OF BLACK on the board - so much so, that when I looked at projected standings - it was 12.5 to 11.5 while the play was on about holes 7-12......Hopper was able to put the first point on the board to make it 9-4, shortly after KM made it 10-4 for Team York - but then Owl wins.....Llama wins.....Dale wins.....Herron wins....Tort wins....Hammy wins.....10-10 just like that......after a hard fought tie between Pecker and Hammer.....we were at 10.5 to 10.5 with 3 matches left on the course......York closes out his match on 17....11.5 to 10.5 with last 2 matches 1 point games walking down 16.....Huge Fed putt by Eag in front on EVERYONE on 16 to square his match, while pands takes 2 up lead meant they just needed to win 1/2 more point......with pands finishing on 17, the KUP was clinched......Eag then drove the shortened 18 to punctuate the 13.5 to 10.5 Victory!!!
INCREDIBLE COMEBACK by Team Jav really made Team York sweat in the end - but the lead built up by history proved to be the difference maker.

Couple quick tidbits:
Eag becomes 3rd animal (joining Tort and Beest) to have his second 3-0 CK, but first to do it back to back.
His 6 game CK winning streak ties the commish's record. Pands also has a 5 game active one.
Pands and Fawn join Prince as the only animals to be on the winning squad 5 times.
KM becomes the 4th animal to go 3-0 in his first CK (poss, tort, beest)
