EEL – (cap will move from a 2 to a 6) Our regular season champ and current RK Champ will be trying to make history in 2 different ways. With a win, he will have both belts at same time (never happened) and he will also become the first 3 time champ (never happened). Don’t tell him I said this, but Eel has been the most successful history player if you include both regular season and playoffs. This is his 5th regular season title (most). 7th FINAL appearance (most). He has 4 FORMAT wins (2 PLAYINS, 2 FINALS), (most) And he also has a PTP win. AGAIN DONT TELL HIM I SAID THIS. Eel has 4 total MAJs which puts him 5th all-time. Eel has a baby on the way – will this fact distract him from the task at hand? Will YORKIE be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
herron – (cap will move from a 3 to a 5) CK winning captain this year. Made the CK winning putt heard round the WORLD in the first even sudden death CK playoff. Defeated Captain Eel in singles to ensure there was a playoff. This is Herron’s second playoff appearance and first FINAL. Only one in the field that doenst have his name in CAPS…….yet. Herron has been playing such solid golf the last couple of years – its not a matter of IF, its a matter of WHEN. He has bit of a trump card in his back pocket…..while actually on his BAG. The EAG will caddying for Herron. Will YORKIE be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
YORKIE – (Cap will move from +1 to a 0) The LEDGE. The PREZ. His picture is a staple in the dining room at the VEEJ. The history York is trying to make is also being the first 3 time CHAMP and the first ever back-to-back CHAMP. Our current club champ is looking for his record tying 9th MAJ. Which will put him with EAG and would surely set up a massive battle in IRELAND this summer to see who gets to double didge MAJs first. This is Yorkie’s 7th playoff appearance and 4th FINAL. CTMC 5 and 11 Champ knows how to get it done in this format. That first year, after all was said and done, DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN?!?! was heard rattling throughout the 19th. Will YORKIE be putting that belt around his OWN waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
MOLE – (Cap will stay a 1) 2 time MAJ champ, but looking for his first non-RK MAJ. This is also Moles 7th playoff appearance and 5th FINAL. He finally got that FORMAT monkey off his back by winning the PLAYIN. Speaking of caddies – Mole will have Tort BONES Young on the bag again. Just a warning to the patrons – do not stand within 5/10 feet of tort if mole is about to putt….If said putt drops, you might get a fierce uppercut from a Tort Fist PUMP. Electric stuff. Mole has been playing real SOLID golf in ’23 – 4 NUPS and an OYC in 5 rounds earlier and cap down to a solid 2. Mole bought the belt back in 2013 as a trophy for the CTMC CHAMP – but he has yet to DON it. Will YORKIE be putting that belt around his waist? Can he drink out of that cup? Can he get his name etched on the great crooked tree photo? TIME WILL TELL?!?!?!
There you have it GENTS. 4 great golfers, but more importantly 4 great guys. Doesnt get much better.
