2017 Quarter 2 Stats

Goooooood Morning Kingdom. Here are the Q2 Stats along with April, May & June.

History world has never been hotter!!!  112 games at the half way mark and a whopping 20 animals in the standings with a few more that are real close.  (last year we were at 74 with 14 in the standings at this time)

The Veej seems like its been in the best shape ever. Greens are MINTY FRESH. Some kingdom members are going LOWWWWWW

The second quarter was highlighted by the Hounddog taking down the first MAJOR of the year at ROADKILL.  Might have to change the name of this MAJ to HOUNDKILL. Hounddog has not gone back to back, and is the first 2 time winner of this 4 year old event.  More importantly he is now tied his idol John Daly with 2 MAJORS.  I don’t think he’s done though.

Standings wise – Mole has lead every day of the second quarter, but has not been unable to pull away.  Kodiak’s debut season continues to be impressive and sits just 1 game back.  After that – there is a HUNGRY pack of past major champs and studs that are lurking ready to make a move in Q3.

Individually – we had our lowest round in the history of history. 64 had been recorded a number of times – but no one could seem to get lower than that.  UNTIL Bobcat came back with a sizzling 63.

Q3 is always a big one.  The equivalent of “moving day” in the standings, as well as, we will crown our second and third MAJOR champs. (Nanners and CC).  So strap in or strap on – it should be one helluva ride.

Time to get to the second quarter stats and ‘caps.  Grab a fresh BRONSON (preferably THE FLAG).  Here we go:

Player of the month

Mr. April

Goes to the Yahk.  What a return.  This was no April Fools Prank….5-0 in the month of April.

Mr. May

Mr. May was TUCO.  Mole/Pand/Harry all + 3 for the month – but it was harrier who soared a little higher than the 2 ground animals with his 71.00 Net Scoring Avg.

Mr. June

Pands has been on FIYAH, and no surprise that he won Mr.June.  5-0 in June and making a serious push up the standings.

Come Get Som!

April

This one goes to the Yahk.  Quite a return from OL Yahk. Hole 1 – close match. Shotgun start on hole 3.  Yahk found himself right of the bunkers lying 3.  Needed to get up and down. How BOUT ONE BETTER. Perfect FLOP in for the FEATHER.   COME GET SOM!!!!!!!

May

This one goes to the Harrier. 18th hole. Tight match. Drive went right.  Tough to find at first. His party Pand finds it! Ugly lie.  HARRY HACK.  Perfect trajectory over Slug bunker rolls up to 7 feet. Cans it for FEDA to extend match which they go on to win on the first playoff hole.  COME GET SOM!!!!!!!!!!

Honourable Mention goes to RAM, who had COME GET HOM.  684 yard par 5 5th at Home Course which was probably playing LONGER. Average score of the other 7 animals was 6.714 (6-6-7-7-7-7-7 basically the max).  Ram hits crush drive – crush 3W – smooth 5 iron – Canned HEAT for the Feather.  Jaws were left on the snack shack pavement in group 1 when we heard he made FEDA behind us.

June

This one goes to Kodiak.  15th hole – 115 yard – 56 degree – back left pin – lands beyond the hole a couple feet – guzz back and cans its for the FLAPPER. Pure sex but more importantly – COME GET SOM!!!!!

New Records.

Bobcat shoots 63 which beats the long standing low gross which has sat at 64 and has been done a number of times (York/Eag/Ram)

Bobcat makes 5 Feathers in a row (1-5)

Bob/Eel/Moose/Silver shoot a combined -10 NET.

Eag with 4 GUPS in a month.
