Goooooood Morning Kingdom. Here are the Q4 Stats along with October, November & December.
We have now wrapped up our 7th regular season of history and this was arguably the BEST EVA. We shattered the matches played record with 260. (previous was 219 back in 2014) We had 2 new history lows – 63 and a 61. (Both by BOB) We finally had our first ever ACE. Thanks to the Eag on 13 back in August.
We had some exciting Major finishes. Started with OWL winning his first MAJ back in February. 2016s CTMC title. This was BY FAR the closest ever Final – with all 4 animals having a chance to win with 2 holes to go. We had HOUND edge MOLE down south at RK4. Hound went 4-0 to win his second straight RK title. Up-Island at the Nanners we had EAGLE, winning his 3rd straight LEVEL comfortably. Even contending for the Overall title. (ultimately finished 2nd place) Last but not least – we had BOBCAT winning his first MAJOR title at the CCs – beating many time champ YORKIE in 33 holes in an exciting match.
The final quarter was headlined by an amazing CK and some ultra tight races that weren’t decided until the very last day of the year.
At CK5 – Captain BOBCAT (Cats crew) defeated Captain MOLE (nWo Wolfpac). The final score was 11.5 to 9.5 and came down to the 18th hole in the second to last match.
The races for 1st place in the standings (won by Mole over Bob), 3rd (Hound edging York) and 6th (Eag over Fawn, Hammer and Eel) were REAL fun to watch.
The final 6 that will compete include 5 animals that have not donned the belt. (Mole, Bob, and Hound in the FINAL. Pand and Eag in the PLAYIN…..York is only one of the 6 that has won.)
Of course we have 16 eligible animals that are hoping to go through the backdoor and still compete the TITLE.
All this will take place at the end of Jan and start of Feb.

The one goes to the Pup! Pup holes out bunker shot on 14 for par, after chunking his first one into it. Crucial point in match that lead them to a DUB. COME GET SOM!!

This one goes to the Mole! With his party Eel in close in 2 on 1 – Mole wanted to get his bunker shot tight for a chance at GATCH. NOT SO FAST. Bunker shot clipped perfectly and he DRAINS it!! Setting up only the second GRATCH and 5th 4 point hole in the history of history. COME GET SOM!
December
This one goes to the Jav! 172 yards out on 3. Front left pin. Rainy mist. Hybrid. Hit well. Is that hit too well? Uh oh. That’s staying up top, isn’t it? Shit. Oh – I think its moving. Yup, it is. whoa. That has a chance. Sit maybe? Whoa. Go in. WHOA. YES!!! ITS IN. Flapper baby. Setting up a memorable Dash 1 GUP, Dash 8 DEEP NUP round for the Javy.
Honourable mention to Beest’s amazing chip from the bowl left of 5 to a middle rightish pin. Checked perfectly – rode the middle ridge, dead weight – while his party Wolf was Yelling COME GEEEEEEEEEET SOOOOOOOOOM – right as it dropped.
Probably Top 3 shots of the year – but came in the same month as the longest hole out of the year.
New Records.
Hound and Eel tied the dubious record of 5 BATCHs in a round set by Mole and Owl back in 2011. (I originally thought that 4 was the record, but checked the archives and found a FIVER)
Eel and Mole made 3 FLAPS – setting the record for FLAPS by a team. Mole having 2 of them which ties Slugs mark of 2 from years ago. Both did it on 1 and 17.
Ram/Eag/Hound/Wolf were the first group to have all NUPS. Ram and Wolf making lengthy putts on 18 to make that happen.
Harry ties Bob’s record of best 5 hole stretch. (dash 5. Harry does it from 13-17 – 3 feds and a flap….Bobs was 5 feds on 1-5)
Jav ties Wolfs ironman record of 96 matches played.
Jav beats Wolfs most Ls in a season with 56. (wolf 53)
And last but not least – the kingdom breaks the record for most games played with 260!! (previous 219 in 2014)
